About Anastasiya
I work in energy investment banking handling client deliverables like financial and competitive analysis, pitch decks, and ad hoc tasks. A highlight was working on the Furbo Energy IPO for an $11 billion company that got upsized. I graduated SMU in 2025 with a finance major and stayed active in finance and social clubs like Alpha Delta Pi and Phi Chi Theta, which I helped found, plus the club volleyball team. This involvement helped me decide on my career path.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My mom was a really hard-working woman, and she just kind of went for things, and it worked out, so I feel like that's kind of like my mentality as well. Also myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just try things, never be curious and open-minded. Be open to trying new things.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just try it, even if it looks hard or scary... just keep going, no matter what. Be curious, and if something's of interest to you, you should pursue it 110%.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Incredibly competitive, barriers to entry are high and low at the same time. Need a niche. Opportunities with AI and energy transition for new roles.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Kindness, trust, integrity, being respectful to others, having a good attitude, good lighthearted attitude.
