Anaya Denise Williams

Co-Owner / Chief Operating Officer
MedFlow Supply LLC
Windsor Mill, MD

Anaya is a writer, a thinker, and someone who asks intentional questions. She studies Political Science and Pre-Law, but her work extends far beyond the classroom. Whether she is engaged in debate, outlining a story, or developing an idea from scratch, she is driven by curiosity and the desire to understand how systems shape people’s lives.

Fairness is not abstract to her. It is foundational. She believes institutions should serve communities rather than undermine them, and that conviction informs both her writing and her long-term goal of becoming a criminal attorney advocating for disadvantaged populations.

She approaches growth with discipline. Structured routines. Recommitment to the gym. Rebuilding after setbacks. She views adversity as instruction and momentum as a choice. Productivity, intention, and meaningful creation are constants in her life.

Anaya is deeply interested in language, power dynamics, and the psychology behind human behavior. She values clarity, principled thinking, and the courage to speak with conviction. Her ambition is not just personal success, but measurable impact.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Everything I am building stands on the foundation my mother laid. She showed me what discipline, sacrifice, and unconditional support look like in action.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“The best career advice I ever received was to never shrink myself to fit a room. If I’m qualified, I belong there.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Understand the resources available to you and leverage them fully. Build relationships intentionally. Opportunities often come through connections long before they appear publicly.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the legal field right now is its resistance to evolving at the pace of society. While the world is rapidly changing socially, technologically, and culturally, many legal institutions remain rooted in outdated frameworks. This creates gaps between lived realities and the systems meant to serve them.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Perseverance, discipline, integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic are the values that guide both my professional and personal life.
