Her Story
About Andraa
Andraea LaVant is a disability inclusion and communications specialist with more than 15 years of experience advancing accessibility, youth development, and inclusive practices. She founded her firm in 2018 after spending over a decade in nonprofits, including seven years leading inclusion initiatives at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital. Prior to that, she worked at an educational think tank that partnered with government agencies to help young people with disabilities transition from school to work. As a disabled person herself, she started her firm to bridge gaps between organizations and the disability community, addressing fears around inclusion through consulting, training, and advocacy. She is also a member of Lola, a women's-only co-working space, and Brain Trust, a community for women entrepreneurs.
