What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and an unwavering commitment to my ethics. I stay true to my moral compass, and I don’t compromise — not for convenience, not for pressure, and not for anyone else’s expectations. That clarity has guided every decision I’ve made.
I’ve learned that doing the right thing isn’t always the easiest path, but it’s the one that builds trust, credibility, and long‑term success. If a situation or a client asks me to cross a line, I won’t do it. I’m willing to walk away, even fire a client, if what they want isn’t ethical. Protecting my integrity has been non‑negotiable.
That combination of hard work and ethical discipline has shaped my reputation and carried me through every stage of my career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to carry yourself with grace, even in difficult moments. In this field, you won’t win every battle, and you won’t always get the outcome you hoped for. But how you handle those moments says more about your character than any victory ever could.
I was taught that when you lose, you take it graciously. You thank the court, you maintain your professionalism, and you ask to be excused. That simple guidance has stayed with me throughout my career. It’s a reminder that dignity, respect, and composure matter — especially when things don’t go your way.
That mindset has shaped the way I show up: steady, respectful, and grounded, no matter the outcome.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering this industry, my biggest advice is to learn how to navigate challenging environments with confidence — even before you feel fully ready. There will be moments that feel unfair or unexpected, and at times the industry can still operate like a boys’ club. Growing into your voice, trusting your instincts, and building your confidence from the inside out will be essential.
One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned is to ask for what you need as if it’s already a given. Don’t shrink your requests into questions. Instead of “Can I…?” try “These dates work for me.” That shift in language changes how people respond to you — and how you see yourself. It’s a form of self‑advocacy that helps you take up space with purpose.
A lot of success in this field comes from resilience, self‑advocacy, and the willingness to “fake it till you make it” until the confidence becomes real. Show up, stand firm, and don’t be afraid to act like you belong — because you absolutely do.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in our industry is the financial strain many clients face. We often meet people who are in difficult situations and genuinely need help, but they simply don’t have the resources to pay for the services required. It pulls at your heart because you want to support them, yet you’re also running a business. Balancing compassion with the realities of cost is one of the hardest parts of the work.
But within that challenge is an opportunity: to continue finding ways to educate clients, offer guidance, and create systems that make support more accessible. It also pushes us to strengthen our communication, build trust, and advocate for solutions that better serve the people who rely on us. The opportunity lies in leading with empathy while still maintaining the structure and sustainability the industry needs to grow.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are loyalty and truth. Loyalty creates trust, stability, and real connection — it’s the foundation of strong relationships both personally and professionally. When people know they can rely on you, everything else becomes easier.
Truth is just as important. Being honest, direct, and transparent keeps you grounded and ensures that your decisions come from a place of integrity. I believe in saying what I mean, standing by my word, and showing up with authenticity in every situation.
Together, loyalty and truth guide how I work, how I lead, and how I treat the people around me.
