Andrea Crowder is a dedicated healthcare leader serving as the Executive Director of The Way Free Medical Clinic in Green Cove Springs, Florida. With a strong focus on compassionate community care, she oversees all aspects of the clinic’s operations, including strategic planning, staff leadership, financial management, and program development. Under her guidance, the clinic continues to honor the legacy of its founder while expanding services to meet the needs of the local community.
Andrea brings a wealth of experience in healthcare administration and community engagement. Prior to her current role, she spent over 13 years at Orange Park Medical Center, advancing from Unit Secretary to Community & Public Relations Coordinator, where she managed volunteer programs and youth initiatives. Her earlier career includes roles in real estate law and patient financial services, reflecting her versatile administrative expertise across multiple sectors.
Committed to lifelong learning, Andrea earned an Associate of Science in Health Care Administration and Management from Ashworth College. Beyond her professional achievements, she actively participates in community partnerships and outreach events, emphasizing collaboration and support for underserved populations. What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Understanding the nonprofit world - so many look down on the work I do, but they have to walk in my shoes to understand the need in underserved areas in our communities.
