Her Interview

Ten minutes with Andrea

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the village of people around me who continually support, encourage, and uplift me. Having people who believe in me, step in when I need help, and offer guidance and encouragement has made a tremendous difference in my journey. I recognize that success is not achieved alone, and I am grateful for the relationships and support system that help me grow, overcome challenges, and keep moving forward.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received came from my uncle, who always encouraged me to just do it. His advice was to take the leap even when I don't feel ready, figure things out along the way, and not let fear or a lack of resources hold me back. Whether it means doing something scared, taking a chance without having all the money, or stepping into the unknown, the important thing is to take action. I've learned that opportunities don't always come when everything is perfectly aligned, and sometimes the best way forward is simply to take that first step.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to simply get started and believe in your capabilities. Have confidence in yourself, recognize the value you bring, and don't wait until you feel completely ready to pursue opportunities. Take chances, embrace challenges, and learn along the way. I also believe in supporting and encouraging other women, so I would be happy to offer guidance, share my experiences, and help point them in the right direction as they navigate their careers.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is making sure I dedicate the time and attention needed to provide truly personalized, white-glove service. Every client has unique needs, expectations, and circumstances, so it is important to understand their individual goals and give each person the time, guidance, and support they deserve. I see this as both a challenge and an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, earn trust, and deliver an exceptional experience.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is the most important value to me, both professionally and personally. I also believe in discipline and accountability, which guide how I approach my responsibilities, make decisions, and follow through on my commitments. I believe in doing what is right, taking ownership of my actions, and holding myself to a high standard in everything I do.
