I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I believe in continuing to move forward, even when faced with challenges and obstacles, and using those experiences as opportunities to grow. I am also committed to lifelong learning and continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge, develop new skills, and further my education. This commitment to growth, resilience, and continuous improvement has helped me achieve my goals and continue progressing both personally and professionally.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to be patient with myself and trust that things will get better with time and perseverance. I believe in leading by example, staying true to my values, and allowing my actions and dedication to speak for themselves.

My advice to young women entering the industry is to develop structure, stay organized, and manage your time effectively. Always strive for excellence in everything you do while remaining open to learning and improvement. Most importantly, embrace change rather than fear it, because change creates opportunities to grow, develop new skills, and become stronger both personally and professionally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in my field is continuing to support the Sioux City Community School District while expanding my ability to help students and families navigate the educational opportunities and resources available to them. I am committed to helping individuals understand their options, identify the supports that best align with their unique circumstances, and make informed decisions that meet their specific needs. Through continued collaboration, advocacy, and inclusive practices, I hope to help more students and families access meaningful opportunities and achieve positive outcomes.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, honesty, and kindness.
