Andrea Ponce is a dynamic Senior Program Manager with extensive expertise in marketing, corporate communications, strategic partnerships, and social impact initiatives, with a focus on DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) and technology. Most recently, she served as a Program Manager on Google’s Grow With Google team, leading national partnerships and career-readiness programs designed to expand access to technical careers. Born in Portoviejo, Ecuador, Andrea moved to New Jersey at the age of eight, where she quickly adapted to a new culture and language while cultivating a resilient work ethic. Her early experiences—from babysitting her younger brother to working in retail and hospitality—instilled in her a commitment to independence, resourcefulness, and a passion for creating opportunities for others.

Throughout her career, Andrea has built bridges between nonprofits, foundations, universities, and the tech industry to create sustainable pathways into technology for underrepresented groups and individuals with disabilities. She has successfully managed diversity programs, national recruitment initiatives, corporate social responsibility efforts, and brand campaigns, consistently delivering measurable outcomes. From early hospitality and marketing internship roles at ClubCorp to brand and marketing leadership at Harley‑Davidson, Andrea has demonstrated adaptability, strategic insight, and leadership across sectors. Her pivot into technology, including her roles at Google and Lenovo, highlights her ability to apply program management, DEIB expertise, and purpose-driven marketing to drive real-world impact.

Beyond her corporate work, Andrea is deeply committed to volunteerism, mentorship, and advisory work. She has contributed her expertise to HITEC, LATINA Style, and other community programs, supporting social impact initiatives, digital campaigns, and executive-level event management. Despite navigating multiple career pivots and layoffs, Andrea has maintained advocacy, volunteer leadership, and a focus on equity and community investment. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from William Peace University, Andrea combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a passion for social impact, continually seeking ways to empower underrepresented communities and promote inclusive growth in the tech industry.
