Her Story
About Andrea
Andrea Quiroz has spent the past four years working in women's pelvic health. She assists hospital facilities with orders and supports the company's international operations to help women in other countries. Quiroz was inspired to join the field because she personally knows many women who deal with urinary incontinence, and she wanted to help them find solutions. Before her current role, she worked as a night auditor at a hotel and in a drinkware company where she handled logos. She also has experience as a caregiver starting in her teens and in the hospice industry. Quiroz completed her high school general education and took medical billing and coding courses in college, which grew her passion for the medical field. She values caring for others and collaborating, and she follows the company's four Cs of care, collaborate, create, and challenge both at work and in her personal life. Quiroz received Employee of the Year recognition for her hard work. She advises following your passion and encourages young women entering the field to research why the work is done to help women have better lives. Outside of work, she spends time with her three children, including supporting her son's high school baseball, and enjoys the beach.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenges is trying to meet the needs of hospitals, just the quantities. Challenges is just trying to keep up with all the women that we serve. The rest of it is we also do humanitarian, so it's a great passion to just help everybody.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Values is caring. Caring means a lot to me, whether it's here at work or at home. I have three wonderful children that I try to implement this on, is just caring about other people. And then just collaborating, whether it be in work or at home, just throwing out ideas and trying to collaborate on everything that we do.
