Her Interview

Ten minutes with Andrea

01What do you attribute your success to?

Starting in fashion as even an influence that came to her from her mother, as a little girl but than professionally expanding it by starting at Chanel and transitioning to event production.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to embrace change and not be afraid to pivot. Career paths are rarely linear, and the ability to adapt, explore new opportunities, and step outside of your comfort zone can lead to unexpected and rewarding experiences. Trust your skills, stay open to growth, and have the confidence to evolve along the way.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now come from the need to adapt quickly to unexpected changes and perform effectively in high-pressure environments. Success requires staying flexible, maintaining a positive mindset, and focusing on solutions rather than obstacles. I have learned the importance of leaning on my team, trusting collaboration, and recognizing that strong teamwork is essential to navigating challenges and creating successful outcomes.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are continuous learning, adaptability, and the relationships I build along the way. My education in fashion merchandising, along with the guidance and support of my mentors, has shaped my perspective and reinforced the importance of staying open to growth and change. I believe being adaptable is essential for navigating new challenges and creating meaningful opportunities.

Outside of my professional life, I value creativity, exploration, and giving back to the community. My interests in travel and painting allow me to stay inspired and express myself creatively, while my involvement with nonprofits reflects my commitment to making a positive impact beyond my career.
