Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to disciplined hard work, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to continuous growth. Throughout my career, I have embraced challenges as opportunities to learn and evolve, even in the face of setbacks or rejection. Each obstacle has strengthened my resolve to improve, refine my expertise, and innovate further.

In a field driven by constant technological transformation, I have remained intentionally proactive—continuously studying emerging trends, artificial intelligence advancements, and digital innovation to stay ahead of change rather than react to it. I believe success requires not only competence, but anticipation: identifying opportunities before they become urgent and proposing solutions before problems escalate.

Equally important has been my willingness to take initiative—proactively leading ideas, proposing new frameworks, and challenging the status quo to drive meaningful impact.

Finally, I attribute much of my strength to my family, whose unwavering support and encouragement have given me the confidence to pursue ambitious goals. Knowing I have a strong foundation behind me has allowed me to take risks, push boundaries, and continue striving for excellence.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was: “Never stop learning, especially in technology — and never wait for the trend to become obvious.”

Technology evolves faster than job descriptions, and true leadership requires staying ahead of change, not reacting to it. I was advised early on to continuously study emerging technologies — even those not yet mainstream — and to build knowledge before the market demands it.

Equally important was the reminder to never give up. Rejections, delays, and resistance to innovation are part of building something meaningful. The key is to remain resilient, proactive, and committed to growth.

That advice shaped how I approach my career: always learning, always anticipating what’s next, and always pushing forward.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to pursue technology boldly and unapologetically—especially fields like AI and machine learning, where innovation is reshaping the future of every sector.

Do not wait until you feel “ready.” The industry evolves quickly, and growth comes from curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning. Stay ahead of trends, invest in understanding emerging technologies before they become mainstream, and position yourself as someone who drives change rather than reacts to it.

Most importantly, do not be discouraged by rejection or resistance. Resilience and persistence are as important as technical skills. Your voice, perspective, and leadership are needed in shaping the future of technology.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the acceleration of emerging technologies—especially AI, machine learning, and generative models—that have the potential to transform industries at every level. These advancements are enabling new ways to solve complex problems, improve human outcomes, and create value across sectors from healthcare to global development.

At the same time, this rapid evolution presents significant challenges. The pace of innovation often outstrips organizations’ ability to adopt and integrate these technologies responsibly and effectively. There is a growing need for professionals who can not only understand cutting-edge tools, but also translate them into practical solutions, govern them ethically, and design systems that amplify human impact rather than replace it.

The key opportunity lies in bridging the gap between technical innovation and effective implementation—ensuring that emerging tech is accessible, trustworthy, and aligned with real-world needs. This requires continuous learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the courage to experiment while maintaining a commitment to responsible practice.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me—both professionally and personally—are integrity, empathy, resilience, and purposeful impact.

Integrity guides every decision I make. In a field like technology, where innovation moves quickly, ethical responsibility must move just as fast. I believe in building solutions that are not only effective, but thoughtful and human-centered.

Empathy is equally essential. Whether leading digital transformation initiatives or collaborating across teams, I strive to understand perspectives deeply and design systems that genuinely serve people.

Resilience has shaped my journey. Growth requires persistence, especially in rapidly evolving industries. I approach challenges as opportunities to learn, adapt, and improve continuously.

Above all, I am driven by the desire to make a meaningful global impact through technology. I am passionate about applying my expertise to support communities beyond my immediate environment, and I dedicate time to nonprofit initiatives in Honduras focused on education and animal welfare. For me, success is not measured solely by professional achievement, but by the positive difference we create for others.
