What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to disciplined hard work, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to continuous growth. Throughout my career, I have embraced challenges as opportunities to learn and evolve, even in the face of setbacks or rejection. Each obstacle has strengthened my determination to improve, refine my expertise, and continue innovating.
In a field shaped by rapid technological change, I have intentionally taken a proactive approach to continuous learning, closely following emerging trends, advances in artificial intelligence, and broader digital innovation. I believe success requires not only competence, but anticipation, and thus I have always remained ahead of change rather than simply respond to it. The ability to identify emerging opportunities and mitigate risks before challenges arise generates far greater impact than a reactive problem-solving approach. In line with this philosophy, I have consistently sought to take initiative, lead ideas, and challenge the status quo. People are often reluctant to embrace change, but driving change not only creates meaningful impact, but it also allows you to shape that impact to your vision.
Finally, I attribute much of my strength to my family, whose unwavering support and encouragement have given me the confidence to pursue ambitious goals. Knowing I have a strong foundation behind me has allowed me to take risks, push boundaries, and continue striving for excellence.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve received is to focus on creating impact, not just doing what’s in your job description. If you see an opportunity to improve something, raise your hand and take initiative, even if it’s slightly outside your role. I’ve found that staying curious and constantly thinking about how to innovate naturally leads to meaningful contributions. When you focus on delivering value and improving the work around you, recognition and new opportunities tend to follow.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to pursue technology boldly, especially in fields like AI and machine learning, where innovation is rapidly reshaping every sector of the economy. Do not wait until you feel “ready.” In technology, no one is ever fully ready, and waiting for perfect confidence means missing real opportunities. If you feel you belong in this field, there is no need to have all the answers from day one, but have the drive, the intelligence, and the perspective to shape what comes next.
This is an industry that rewards curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning. Stay ahead of emerging trends, invest in both your technical and interpersonal skills, and position yourself as someone who brings insight, value, and initiative to the table. Most importantly, do not be discouraged by rejection or resistance. Every professional journey includes setbacks, and resilience is just as essential as technical ability. With persistence and discipline, you will open doors that once seemed out of reach.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in my field is the rapid acceleration of AI, machine learning, and generative models, which are poised to transform industries at every level. These technologies are unlocking new ways to tackle complex challenges and create value across all sectors.
At the same time, this rapid evolution presents significant challenges. The pace of innovation often outstrips organizations’ ability to adopt and integrate these technologies responsibly and effectively. There is a growing need for professionals who can not only understand emerging technologies, but also translate them into practical solutions, govern them ethically, and design systems that amplify human impact rather than replace it.
The key opportunity lies in bridging the gap between technical innovation and effective implementation, ensuring that emerging technologies are accessible, trustworthy, and aligned with real-world needs. This requires continuous learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the courage to experiment while maintaining a commitment to responsible practice.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—both professionally and personally—are integrity, empathy, resilience, and purposeful impact.
Integrity guides every decision I make. In a field like technology, where innovation moves quickly, ethical responsibility must move just as quickly. I believe in building solutions that are not only effective, but thoughtful, responsible, and human‑centered.
Empathy is equally essential. Whether leading digital transformation initiatives or collaborating across diverse teams, I strive to understand different perspectives and design systems that genuinely serve people and their needs.
Resilience has shaped my journey. Growth requires persistence, especially in rapidly evolving industries. I approach challenges as opportunities to learn, adapt, and continually improve.
Above all, I am driven by a desire to create purposeful impact. I am passionate about applying technology to support communities beyond my immediate environment, and I actively dedicate time to nonprofit initiatives in Honduras focused on education and animal welfare. For me, success is not measured solely by professional achievement, but by the positive difference we make in the lives of others.
