Her Interview
Ten minutes with Andrea
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous growth. I believe success comes from the willingness to learn, adapt, and move forward even when facing challenges or moments of self-doubt. Throughout my journey, I have embraced opportunities to expand my knowledge, develop new skills, and push beyond my comfort zone. I also recognize that no one achieves success alone; building strong relationships, empowering others, and being part of a supportive community have been essential to my growth and accomplishments.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to be willing to raise my hand, take risks, and trust myself. Growth happens when I step outside my comfort zone and embrace opportunities, even when the path ahead is uncertain. I have learned that progress is not always linear, and success does not have to follow someone else’s timeline or journey. It is important to stay true to my own path, recognize my unique strengths, and confidently own my journey. This mindset is also reflected in the name of my blog, “Own Your Own Path,” which encourages others to embrace their individuality and create a career journey that is authentic to them.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to not wait until they feel 100% ready before taking action. Speak up, ask questions, and embrace opportunities that challenge and stretch you, as growth often happens outside of your comfort zone. Authenticity is one of your greatest strengths, so remain true to yourself while building meaningful relationships and seeking out mentors who can support your journey. Most importantly, advocate for yourself, trust your abilities, and have the confidence to take initiative and create opportunities for your own success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now stem from the rapid pace of technological change, including advancements in automation and artificial intelligence that are transforming how we operate. While these changes require continuous learning, adaptability, and a willingness to evolve, they also present exciting opportunities to embrace innovation and create more efficient, impactful solutions. I believe the key is balancing technological progress with a human-centered approach, ensuring that we continue to build trust, strengthen relationships, and deliver meaningful value in an increasingly digital world.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, resilience, and service. I believe in doing what is right, even when it may be challenging, and staying grounded and present while navigating uncertainty and change. I am passionate about serving others, supporting their growth, and helping people recognize their own potential. These values guide the way I approach my relationships, my work, and the impact I strive to make in the lives of those around me.
