About Andrea

I am the president of the Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education in New Orleans, which raises funds for a STEM high school with open admission. I previously served as their executive director and also worked as development director at Good Shepherd School. I own WISE Consulting, helping nonprofits with fundraising events like galas and golf tournaments, as well as annual campaigns. My path started after earning a master's in healthcare management, beginning with fundraising at a health clinic, followed by coaching and athletic directing where I won two state championships, then institutional advancement roles.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up. Stay resilient. Have women mentors, join networks, find a support system. Always be open to continue to learn through certifications, cohorts, and networking.
