About Andrea
Andrea Zwonitzer serves as a Senior HR Generalist at a manufacturing company, where she has worked in human resources for five years and handles a wide range of responsibilities. She earned her degree in Human Resource Management in 2024. Andrea is a member of a church in Rockford, Illinois. She attributes her professional success to her faith in God and her mentors. In her view, the best career advice she has received is to stay strong. Andrea advises young women entering the field to gain as many experiences as possible by learning about various areas of HR, which is a broad field, in order to develop their skills. She notes that the biggest challenges in the field today involve focusing on a team-centered approach. The values most important to her are being selfless and highly motivated.

To try to get as many experiences as possible, really learning about as many areas as you can, because HR is such a broad field. Learn so you can develop your skills.

There's a lot of challenges just in this day and age. Trying to focus on a team-centered approach, no matter what.
