Her Story

About Andria

Andria Green is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity sales executive with 22 years of experience helping organizations address complex business and technology challenges. As a Territory Manager at Tenable, she works with large Fortune 500 customers across Texas, developing strategic relationships and connecting clients with solutions that address their evolving cybersecurity needs. Her career has included roles in renewals, inside sales, channel sales, vendor sales, and strategic account management, giving her a broad understanding of both customer and partner perspectives.

A graduate of San José State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Andria has built her career around relationship-driven sales and a deep understanding of technology markets. She has consistently exceeded sales goals and earned recognition for her contributions, while emphasizing perseverance, teamwork, and the importance of surrounding herself with talented colleagues. Her approach is highly collaborative: rather than treating sales as a transactional exchange, she strives to become an extension of her customers' teams, building trust and identifying solutions that create lasting value.

Andria is also passionate about the evolving role of artificial intelligence in technology and cybersecurity. She views AI as an opportunity to improve efficiency, automate administrative and research tasks, and help professionals become more agile in their work. She encourages young women entering the traditionally male-dominated technology industry to be confident, well-informed, and willing to speak up while building genuine connections with others. Outside of her career, Andria enjoys exploring new places and spending time with family and friends, and she has devoted more than a decade to rescuing and fostering dogs, reflecting her commitment to making a positive difference both professionally and personally.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Andria

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to having faith, persevering through challenges, and trusting my team. I’ve learned to understand my strengths and limitations, use my resources wisely, delegate when needed, and bring in experts when their technical knowledge is essential. Strong teamwork, resourcefulness, and knowing when to rely on others have been key to my success.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this male-dominated industry is to be confident, well-read, and unafraid to speak up. Take time to understand your audience and find common ground by learning about their interests and current events. Building genuine connections and trust can help you earn respect and succeed, even when you may be the only woman at the table. Sometimes, you simply have to fake it until you make it.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is evolving rapidly, creating both challenges and opportunities as organizations determine how to incorporate it effectively. It can help us work faster and more efficiently by automating administrative and research tasks, while also requiring us to stay adaptable in an ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In my personal life, my kids are my greatest priority. In my work, I value relationships and the human side of sales. I believe in truly getting to know my customers, understanding their needs, and becoming an extension of their team rather than simply making a transaction or selling a product.
