Aneeta Rufin

Aneeta Rufin founded Astra Shelter Educational Center in 2024 as a solo endeavor to support children in Pakistan who lack access to education due to insufficient resources. Her work focuses on helping children involved in brick-making labor and slavery, with a special emphasis on Christian children, by providing them with both spiritual and regular education along with food and shelter to help them become self-sufficient. She is currently handling the necessary paperwork, including obtaining a fictitious name and planning to register for 501c3 status, while also collaborating with the Pakistan International Minority Rights Commission based in Florida on education and immigration initiatives. In addition to her nonprofit efforts, Aneeta works as a service desk supervisor at Home Depot. She earned an associate degree in business management from Berkeley College through online classes, graduating magna cum laude, after completing 14th grade in Pakistan. She also completed certification as a human rights trainer.
