Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to willingness and ability to embed myself directly into the flow of business, ensuring learning is timely, relevant, and actionable. I strive to form productive relationships with the teams I support. I’ve also focused on strengthening the soft skills in my organization, which has improved collaboration and overall performance.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Two things: 1. Be on time! 2. You can't wait until you have the solution identified when solving a problem. Just get in there and start on the solution, even if you are not yet sure of what direction you will go and what the solution will be.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't let organizations place you into a 'order taking' role. You must strive to truly understand you business and the operational details so that you can act as an advisor to the business. This is how you will create content and programs that are effective and impactful.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in our field right now is training in the form of performance support. When learning is made available only when needed, it supports real-time performance and drives measurable outcomes. A key challenge—and opportunity—is improving communication skills across teams where strong collaboration is essential to operational success.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Caring about others is a core value that guides both my work and personal life. I’m deeply committed to supporting employee growth, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing individuals thrive and gain confidence through the training programs I’ve built.
