Ten minutes with Angela

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the discipline, dedication, and strong work ethic I developed through my experience in sports. The commitment required to train, set goals, overcome challenges, and consistently strive for improvement has shaped my approach to my professional career. I believe that perseverance, accountability, and a willingness to put in the effort every day have been key factors in achieving my goals and continuing to grow.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is the importance of advocating for myself, especially in a male-dominated industry. I have learned that it is essential to confidently communicate my value, share my ideas, and ensure that my contributions are recognized. By believing in my abilities, speaking up, and staying true to my goals, I have been able to navigate challenges, create opportunities, and continue growing professionally.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be confident, be bold, and take pride in everything you accomplish. Believe in your abilities, recognize the value you bring, and do not be afraid to ask questions or seek opportunities to learn and grow. Building confidence, staying curious, and advocating for yourself will help you navigate challenges and create a successful career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the need to accomplish more with fewer resources while adapting to an increasingly fast-paced environment. The pressure to move quickly can sometimes lead to missed steps or taking shortcuts, which makes it essential to remain focused on quality, efficiency, and maintaining high standards. I see this challenge as an opportunity to find innovative solutions, improve processes, and continue delivering strong results while being mindful of the details that matter.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are humility and respect. I believe that no one knows everything, and we all have opportunities to learn, grow, and improve. Recognizing that everyone makes mistakes allows us to approach challenges with understanding and openness. I strive to treat others with respect, value different perspectives, and create an environment where people feel supported and empowered to succeed.
