She joined Camp Luray in a summer housekeeping role and, after her children graduated from high school, transitioned into a full-time position. Through determination and a strong work ethic, she advanced from lead housekeeper to food and beverage manager, where she broke company records during her first year, before ultimately earning her promotion to Assistant General Manager. Without a traditional college education, Angela credits her success to practical experience and continuous learning through what she proudly calls the "School of Hard Knocks." Her outstanding leadership was recognized in 2024 when she received her company's prestigious Rockstar AGM of the Year award. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Angela is an active member of the Luray Chamber of Commerce and The Moose, an organization dedicated to supporting children and strengthening local communities. She believes that honesty, kindness, and integrity are the foundation of meaningful leadership and strives to lead with empathy and compassion in every aspect of her work. Angela credits her success first and foremost to her faith in Jesus Christ and the unwavering support of her husband.
