Her Story
About Angela
I had to believe that I deserved better—and once that belief took root, everything changed. It gave me the courage to begin transitioning out of my toxic marriage, and with each step toward freedom, my empowerment grew. Boss Girls Belief was born from that transformation. I was free, I was alive, and I knew my story wasn’t meant to stay silent.
The name itself carries my journey. Boss—because I was tired of being bossed around. Girls—because that is who I am at my core. And Belief—because none of this transformation could have happened until I finally believed I deserved better.
Surviving what I endured came with a responsibility: I had to help others survive too. I became deeply committed to educating young girls and women about the many forms of abuse, the subtle and overt signs of manipulation and control, and the red flags that signal an unhealthy relationship. This knowledge isn’t just empowering—it can be life‑saving.
In the beginning, I held workshops and shared my story, but I knew I needed structure if I truly wanted to make an impact and save lives. With the guidance of a business coach, I developed the name Boss Girls Belief, defined my role, and officially established my LLC.
My first project was my workbook, Believe In Yourself, created to reach women beyond those physically in the room with me. From there, I launched my online course, Taking Back My Life: How to Reclaim Your Life After an Emotionally Abusive & Psychologically Traumatic Relationship. As part of earning my Life Coach certification, I wrote my eBook Girl, Run, which teaches readers the top three tactics abusers use to control and manipulate their victims.
I believe every young girl and every woman deserves to live a life free from all forms of abuse. My mission is to ensure they know that freedom is possible, attainable, and worth fighting for.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my parents. I grew up watching my parents model an unwavering work ethic—steady, consistent, and dependable. They were never chronically late or scattered; they showed up with purpose and reliability every single day. As teachers, they emphasized the value of education, doing your best, finishing what you start, and always acting with integrity. Their example shaped the standards I hold myself to and continues to guide the way I work and live.
Their influence also instilled in me a deep drive to achieve, to serve others, and to lean on my faith when life becomes especially challenging. Those lessons didn’t just shape who I am—they shaped how I parent. I’m committed to teaching my son those same values and leading by example, just as my parents did for me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was to maintain three to five streams of income. Having multiple avenues of earnings ensures that money continues to flow, even when one source slows down. That mindset creates stability, resilience, and long‑term security.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say be authentic—your individuality is your greatest asset. Identify the one element that truly sets you apart and lean into it. That distinction is what will draw your ideal clients to you over anyone else in this field.
The journey won’t always be smooth. Challenges will come, and some days will test your resolve. But persistence is everything. Winners don’t quit, and quitters don’t win. Stay committed, stay grounded, and keep showing up for yourself and your purpose.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is the sheer number of women who need what I have to offer. I know I can’t reach them all, and that reality weighs on me—because every woman I don’t reach is someone whose life might not be changed or even saved.
But that challenge is also an incredible opportunity. The field is vast, and there is a growing demand for speakers, workshops, and transformational guidance. There are countless platforms and spaces where my voice can make an impact.
For me, it’s all about positioning myself in the right rooms, aligning with the right audiences, and making sure my message is heard by the women who need it most.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, communication, dedication, honesty, and allowing others to see the Christ in me. My values don’t shift depending on the setting—who I am at home is who I am in my professional life. They complement each other and create a consistent foundation for how I show up in the world.
Anyone who interacts with me knows exactly what to expect: clear communication, unwavering integrity, and a woman grounded in strong values. My faith is evident in the way I speak, the way I treat others, and the way I serve. I strive to help wherever I can, and I carry the same spirit of compassion and excellence into every space I enter.
