Angela Dee

After 20+ years in the film industry, learning and working in all areas of production, eventually becoming a one-woman band, Angela now lives in Los Angeles writing scripts, shooting, editing and making settlement documentaries.

The British ex-pat is the accomplished, creative force behind Rack & Ruin - a binge-worthy web comedy series, and now TV Pilot, that made its streaming debut in 2015 on WYSKTV. In 2015 it was a CBS Development Award finalist and in 2016 it won the Virgin Produced Award at SeriesFest. It was available on Virgin Airlines globally and in all associated hotels and web-platforms for a year as a result. It can now be viewed at Huawei and DICE platform Twisted Mirror TV

As an editor she has spent the last 10 years cutting documentaries, features, narrative short films, TV pilots, comedic digital shorts, and promos. In 2010 she founded WakeyWakey Media as a platform for her skills as a one-man-band shooter, director, and editor. In 2014 that business grew to become WakeyWakey Studio in NYC - a hub for production and actor resources. In 2016 she relocated to Los Angeles founding Trial Preview Films in 2018.

A professional photographer for nearly two decades, she can be seen on the streets during her travels photographing daily life, protests and current events. She spends quieter days with her dog, painting.
