Her Interview

Ten minutes with Angela

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to embrace change. My career has required me to navigate different environments and continuously develop new ways of solving problems. I have learned that change is inevitable, and rather than simply reacting to it, I want to understand it, influence its direction, and help create better outcomes.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most important lesson I have learned is not to take things personally. I have also learned to recognize when a work environment is creating excessive stress and to understand that my health and personal needs must remain a priority. Professional success should not require sacrificing my well-being, and recognizing whether an environment is healthy or toxic is an important part of building a sustainable career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice applies to everyone, but it is especially important for women entering high-pressure professional environments: learn not to take everything personally and recognize your own value. Pay attention to the environment in which you work and be willing to acknowledge when it is creating excessive stress. Your own health and needs should remain a priority. I also encourage young professionals to embrace change rather than fear it and to think creatively about how they can help shape the future of their organizations and industries.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges can be opportunities, depending on how we frame them: I am currently asking myself how to responsibly integrate AI into my work.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value adaptability, innovation, creativity, authenticity, personal well-being, and continuous growth. I believe we have the ability to influence our own direction rather than simply react to circumstances. I also value meaningful work and finding ways to make processes more effective so that people can spend more time on work that creates genuine value.
