She started her career at a CPA firm, which introduced her to accounting and eventually led to office management positions. Throughout her career, she has taken on diverse responsibilities at each role, driven by a desire to learn new skills and push herself forward. She previously co-founded a marketing company focused on community outreach with a colleague, though the venture saw limited activity. Angela earned a business associate's degree while raising her family. She currently serves in project accounting for a global geoscience company handling waste management and environmental projects across multiple countries. In this role, she oversees project documentation, maintains accounting accuracy, and holds managers accountable for billings. Her professional journey reflects a commitment to adaptability and continuous growth.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My grandparents, to be honest. They were both hard workers. They helped raise me. My sister is the same way. I have overcome a lot of obstacles in my life, like an abusive marriage and losing both parents young to drugs, which made me the strong person I am today.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Follow your heart. And if you can find something that makes you money that you enjoy, that is the true meaning of success.
