About Angela
Angela Hudson serves as Executive Director of the Denton County Republican Party in Denton, Texas, where she focuses on supporting candidates, precinct chairs, and local party operations. Having worked with the organization for nearly three years, Angela advanced from headquarters administrator to executive director, taking on a leadership role centered on equipping party members with the resources and support needed for effective block walking, voter outreach, and get-out-the-vote efforts. Her political involvement was influenced by her mother, who served as a precinct chair, and Angela has remained actively engaged in Republican politics since she was eligible to vote.
Before entering political party leadership, Angela developed a diverse professional background in the restaurant and banking industries. She worked as a shift manager at Raising Cane's and later held positions in banking, including telesupervisor and banking center manager. Angela earned a Bachelor's degree in Practical Theology from Christ for the Nations Institute after completing a three-year program. Throughout her career, she has emphasized empowering others to succeed, particularly by ensuring that candidates, precinct chairs, and volunteers have the tools and organizational support necessary to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Angela considers honesty and integrity central to both her professional and personal life and credits her mother and her faith in God as important influences on her success. She is involved with Citizens for Life, an organization advocating for life-affirming policies and adoption, and serves in children's ministry at her church while participating in local clubs throughout Denton County. One of her notable professional accomplishments came during the 2024 presidential election cycle, when her team helped Denton County achieve the second-highest percentage of presidential voter turnout among Texas's ten largest counties. Through her leadership, faith, and commitment to community engagement, Angela continues to contribute to political organizing and civic participation in Denton County.
