About Angela
Angela Kimble has dedicated approximately 28 years to government service, beginning her journey through Army ROTC during high school before serving in the United States Navy and retiring from the Navy Reserve in 2007. Building on the leadership and discipline gained through military service, she transitioned into federal civilian service with the Department of the Navy, where she has continued to serve with distinction. Today, she works as a Financial Management Analyst and Agency Program Coordinator for Navy Personnel Command, overseeing programs that support service members and civilian personnel.
Throughout her career, Angela has developed expertise in financial management, government program administration, and personnel support. One of the most rewarding chapters of her career was serving as an Educational Services Officer, where she counseled sailors and helped prepare them for advancement examinations. Her passion for mentorship and customer service continues to guide her work, as she remains committed to encouraging and developing others. In addition to her government career, she is a published children's author and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Human Resources while pursuing additional professional certifications.
Faith, perseverance, and service to others have been the foundation of Angela’s life and career. Together with her husband, a fellow retired Navy veteran, she has embraced a lifelong mission of supporting family members and helping those around them. Through volunteer work with special-needs children and ongoing mentorship, she strives to inspire others and leave a legacy of compassion, encouragement, and service.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, prayer, and the unwavering support of my husband, who is also a retired Navy veteran. Throughout my journey, I have learned the importance of continuing to move forward regardless of the challenges I encounter. Together, we have built a life centered on helping others, supporting family, and encouraging those around us. Counseling and inspiring others has also inspired me, and I believe that serving others strengthens us personally and professionally. Faith, perseverance, and the support of loved ones have been the foundation of everything I have accomplished.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the profession is to keep moving forward and never give up. Continue learning, remain committed to your goals, and understand that perseverance is essential to long-term success. Helping and encouraging others along the way not only benefits them but also strengthens your own growth and purpose. Through faith, dedication, and service to others, you can overcome challenges and build a meaningful career.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are perseverance, faith, prayer, family support, service, and mentorship. I believe in helping others, inspiring younger generations, and providing encouragement whenever possible. My commitment to service extends beyond my career and into my personal life, where I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Supporting people and maintaining a spirit of compassion and encouragement are principles that guide everything I do.
