Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my creativity, willingness to think outside the box, and the foundation I built through previous roles in insurance. One of my proudest moments was being offered my current role after initially being rejected—because I left a strong impression, the hiring manager remembered me and reached out weeks later, which reinforced my belief in staying positive and making a memorable impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to network fearlessly and not hesitate to reach out to others—I truly believe that’s how I got to where I am today. I’ve learned that asking questions and sharing ideas, even if they seem bold, can open unexpected doors and create real opportunities.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the insurance field right now is navigating the lasting impact of COVID-19. We're still seeing its effects on claims, legislation, and how states like New Jersey, California, and New York are reshaping benefits—so we have to constantly adapt while helping clients recover and plan effectively in a post-pandemic landscape.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are accountability, honesty, and authenticity. I believe in owning mistakes and encouraging others to do the same—it builds trust and shows integrity. I also value bringing positive energy and being unapologetically myself; whether it’s through a quirky sense of humor or a collection of over 120 rubber duckies in my office, I strive to create a fun, uplifting environment where people feel empowered to thrive.
