About Angela
Angela Pacheco is the Founder and CEO of Good Better Best, a Nashville-based lifestyle retail and consulting company dedicated to making healthier and more sustainable living easier. Founded in December 2023 and launched in 2024, the company provides less-toxic and environmentally friendly home and personal products while building community through its Nashville retail storefront and partnerships with local small businesses. Angela's entrepreneurial vision grew from her personal experience with breast cancer and her desire to help others make informed, intentional choices about how they live. Prior to founding Good Better Best, Angela built an extensive executive career spanning more than 20 years in human resources, business services, and organizational leadership. Her experience includes leadership roles with nearly eight years with Rolls-Royce North America, seven years with Bridgestone Americas, and as a Chief People Officer at Keystone Agency Partners and The Gardner School. She holds a Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from Michigan State University, along with credentials in human resources, HR project management, and Six Sigma. Angela is also a TEDx speaker who uses storytelling and personal experience to encourage meaningful, practical change. Her TEDxUWMadison talk, “How to Live Better: One Decision at a Time,” reflects her belief in making small, intentional choices that can create a larger impact on personal well-being and the environment. Through her community involvement with the Silent Spring Institute, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee, and The Keep A Breast Foundation, she continues to advocate for healthier communities, stronger relationships, sustainability, and living with greater purpose.

Ten minutes with Angela
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the multitude of experiences I have said Yes to. The combination of my background in human resources and leadership roles at organizations including Rolls-Royce, and Bridgestone, together with my personal experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer nine years ago have instilled my drive to help others through impactful action. My personal cancer journey changed the way I thought about the intersection of how we live and work and ultimately inspired me to focus on creating healthier, more sustainable ways of living through Good Better Best.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I have been fortunate to have amazing mentors throughout my career, including Helena Light-Hadley from Rolls-Royce and Janet Miller in Nashville. Their guidance and support, along with my involvement with organizations such as the Silent Spring Institute and the YWCA of Middle Tennessee, have helped shape my professional and personal journey.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women is that you can have a successful career while truly making a difference and living life to the fullest. Professional success and personal purpose do not have to be separate—you can build a meaningful career while making a positive impact.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
As a business owner, one of the biggest needs is building strong relationships and developing a meaningful network. Relationships and networking are essential to creating opportunities, connecting with customers and partners, and growing a business.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Sharing my story and my journey as a breast cancer survivor is very important to me because it allows me to share what I have learned, including insights into the varying impacts of treatment on mental health. Through Good Better Best, I also value building genuine relationships with customers and helping them discover and use products that are better for their overall well-being and better for the planet. My TEDx experience, where I shared my personal journey of “living better, one decision at a time,” further reflects my commitment to connection, sustainability, health, and meaningful change.
