Ten minutes with Angela
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay positive and show compassion. Focus on one task at a time and take personal time to recuperate so you can be a better resource to others. Don't stretch yourself thin by taking on too many things.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay organized. Keep record of everything, maintain a healthy calendar, and create personal tracking systems like spreadsheets to stay on top of tasks and avoid overbooking.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Pay equity and competitive wages for hourly employees. Companies not offering competitive pay leads to high turnover as staff leave for better opportunities.
