Her Interview
Ten minutes with Angela
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my drive, ambition, and commitment to continuous growth. I’ve also been supported by opportunities within my company to advance and improve. Most importantly, my family motivates me to keep going and to show my children and grandchildren that they can achieve their goals through hard work and perseverance.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You may need to be willing to take on tasks you don’t yet feel fully qualified for and view them as opportunities to grow. Embrace challenges and learn from each experience. Start where you are, build a strong understanding of the bigger picture, and be willing to work from the ground up. By going above and beyond and fully understanding your work and projects, you increase your value and open the door for long-term success.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the increased educational requirement, as a bachelor’s degree is often needed to enter roles where hands-on experience was once sufficient. At the same time, this shift creates opportunities for those with formal education in areas such as logistics management or business. It opens pathways for stronger advancement and long-term growth within the industry.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
God is first in my life, followed by my family, and then my work. I strive to live a life that reflects my values and builds a lasting legacy for those who know me.
