Angela Roberts

I'm the founder and president of Birthday Sugar LLC, a luxury experience design firm I started in 2012 and have been running for nearly 14 years. Based in Alabama, we design immersive celebrations, branded experiences, and community events—blending experience strategy, visual design, and operational rigor. We operate from two locations, including our showroom and a 5,000 square foot warehouse that powers large-scale production, staging, and fulfillment.

My philosophy is simple: great events turn stories into environments people can feel. Whether I'm activating for a global brand or crafting an intimate milestone celebration, I focus on usability, inclusivity, and emotional connection. Every touchpoint is designed so guests feel seen, cared for, and fully immersed in the story.

In 2025, I launched Event Space Global, a tech-driven online booking and management platform that connects event organizers with unique venues and service providers around the world. Leveraging over a decade of my own experience in venue ownership and event planning, the platform streamlines venue discovery, instant booking, payments, and resource management—making the event planning process seamless, efficient, and accessible for everyone from private gatherings to international conferences.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Corporate and VIP Host at Live Nation Entertainment, interned at Trinity Broadcasting Network (where I learned studio production, editing, and guest booking), and spent four years as an Area Sales Manager at Dillards, where I developed my foundation in customer service and team training.

I build experiences, platforms, and teams. I solve problems behind the scenes so the magic can happen front and center. And after more than a decade, I'm still obsessed with making people feel something extraordinary.
