About Angela
Angela Scott is a paralegal and adjunct professor with experience spanning nearly two decades in the legal field. She graduated from the University of Montana Paralegal studies program in 2006, already holding a paralegal position at the time, and continued in various paralegal roles until 2015. She then returned to school to complete her Liberal Studies degree at Montana State University before reentering the paralegal field in 2018. In 2023, she was hired by the University of Montana, the same program from which she graduated, to teach the Intro to Paralegal Studies course as an adjunct professor, now in her fourth semester. Angela Scott maintains an active paralegal practice while serving as a member of the Montana Association of Legal Assistants, the National Association of Legal Assistance, and the Montana State Bar Paralegal section. Her professional journey was inspired in part by the story of Erin Brockovich, which she references in her teaching.
