About Angela
She is a dedicated nonprofit leader and executive with over two decades of experience in health equity, development, and community impact, currently serving as Executive Director of WeCareJax, where she leads a team addressing the needs of uninsured and under-resourced neighbors, including barriers to nutrition, transportation, and housing security. With more than 500 volunteer physicians and providers, WeCareJax ensures care is provided at no cost to patients and their families. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Development at MOCA Jacksonville, as inaugural Director of Development at Jasmyn Inc, and as Grants & Foundations Manager at Wounded Warrior Project, where she more than doubled grant revenue from 2012 to 2014. She holds a BA in Public Administration and English from the University of Memphis, where she served as President of the Student Government Association and was selected as one of 100 Centennial Celebration Alumni. She is recognized as a strategic, compassionate, and results-driven leader who is deeply committed to advancing health equity, building strong communities, and ensuring access to care for all.
