Angela Tieken is a seasoned personal injury paralegal and senior case manager with 27 years in the legal industry. After earning a degree in writing and an auxiliary paralegal degree, she began her career with intern positions involving maritime law and personal injury cases before transitioning to roles at an insurance company and a sole practitioner's office. She spent 15 years at a firm handling a caseload of 60 cases, attending CLEs through the Washington State Trial Lawyers Attorneys Association to stay current on personal injury and insurance law. Now retired, Angela works part-time on contract, offering writing services to other firms in personal injury matters. She emphasizes the importance of authenticity and transparency when working with clients and colleagues.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think transparency, when I trust a person, or I meet a client, or I meet any person, be what do you call it? They're authentic? Because you can get at the bottom of any... It's important if the person you're communicating with is authentic and transparent.
