Angela Watkins

A results-driven nonprofit and community development leader with extensive experience in fundraising, membership growth, and organizational leadership across major health and community-based organizations. Currently serving as Director of Development for the Florida Chapter of the Parkinson’s Foundation, leading regional fundraising initiatives, donor engagement strategies, and large-scale community events that support Parkinson’s research and patient services. Previously held senior leadership roles within the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg and YMCA of Metro Detroit, where responsibilities included overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, rebuilding membership bases, driving post-pandemic recovery strategies, and leading high-performing teams in sales, marketing, and operations. Known for building strong community partnerships, delivering impactful fundraising outcomes, and combining strategic planning with hands-on execution to strengthen organizational growth, visibility, and mission impact.
