About Angela
Angela Webster-Goosby is an accomplished educational leader, instructional coach, and school administrator with experience spanning elementary and secondary education. She currently serves as Senior Instructional Coach and Education Specialist at the Alameda County Office of Education, where she mentors coaches and teachers clearing their credentials through California's induction program. Her path began in 1998 as a paraeducator, becoming a teacher in 2000 after switching her major to health science and marketing at Cal State East Bay following an early pregnancy. She earned a master's in special education learning instruction from USF, an autism authorization, and an admin credential through East Bay, along with a micro-credential from East Carolina University in academic discourse in math and science. Prior roles include principal at Montclair Elementary in Oakland Unified, high school principal positions at Arroyo High School and San Lorenzo High School in San Lorenzo Unified, assistant principal, REACH Education Coordinator creating after-school programs, and special education teacher at a continuation school where she implemented a push-in program for students with IEPs. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated for nearly 30 years and was nominated twice for Principal of the Year and once for Assistant Principal of the Year while serving as president of the AXA chapter in San Lorenzo. Her expertise includes special education, special education law, LCAP, coaching new principals, instruction, curriculum design, program design, funding, and networking.
