Ten minutes with Angela

01What do you attribute your success to?

Building strong personal and professional relationships. Providing excellent customer service at all times. Commitment to serving my community.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You become the average of the five people you spend the most time with, influencing your finances, mindset, and habits, so you should choose your companions wisely to support your growth. It's a call to surround yourself with positive, ambitious, and hardworking people who challenge you to be better, as their qualities tend to rub off on you.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women the same that I was taught (noted above). In addition, it is very important that you never burn bridges, as you never know when you may need to cross them again!

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in the long term care nursing and rehabilitation arena is stability, support and growth. We are constantly seeing changes in ownership and management companies. It is hard to obtain the resources that you need for these communities to thrive and staff to excel when these companies aren't truly committed and invested.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

1. It is important to be a woman of your word, no matter what. At the end of the day, my word is all I have.

2. People will forget what you said and what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Therefore, I treat others as I would like to be treated.
