Her Interview
Ten minutes with Angelia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to finding my voice and having the confidence to use it. I am not afraid to step in where I’m needed, embrace new challenges, and continuously learn to grow both personally and professionally. My commitment to lifelong learning has been instrumental in helping me evolve and succeed throughout my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to pursue my dreams without hesitation. Early in my career, my boss Ray Noble encouraged me to keep striving for my goals despite working in a male-dominated field. That advice gave me the confidence to persevere, overcome challenges, and never let barriers define my potential.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To all the women entering the heavy equipment and construction industry, remember that you are part of a powerful wave of change, and you belong here just as much as anyone else. If I could give you any piece of advice as you build your career, it is this: speak up, keep pushing, go after your dreams, and never think that being a woman can stop you from achieving anything. Share your insights confidently, let every challenge you face build your resilience, and refuse to let outdated stereotypes set the ceiling for your worth. True grit, capability, and leadership have absolutely nothing to do with gender so show up, stand tall, and know that you have the strength and intelligence to build an incredible future in this field.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is shipping delays. Supply chain disruptions can impact production schedules, customer satisfaction, and overall business operations. Successfully navigating these challenges requires proactive planning, clear communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are loyalty, honesty, authenticity, and integrity. I believe in being true to myself while treating others with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. These principles guide my decisions, shape my relationships, and define how I approach every opportunity and challenge.
