About Angelia
Angelia Webster serves as a consultant for an IT company, focusing on strategic partnerships and communications both internally and externally. In her role of over 15 years, she engages with the Northeast Ohio Partnership and stakeholder communities to enhance visibility and create business development opportunities. Previously, she worked as a global corporate trainer for approximately 8 years, traveling to multiple states to train employees on new assignments. She also led diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for the Great Lakes region, partnering with recruitment and organizations to broaden DE&I initiatives. Angelia holds a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University as well as a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Management and HR from Berslin College and State University. Among her notable achievements, she received the Bridge Builder Community Award from her company. She is actively involved in professional organizations including the Get With It Executive Board, serving as vice president for the Hurston College Alumni Association for Social Events, attending the SHARM Women of Leadership Institute, and as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Angelia attributes her success to remaining grounded, strong family support, and participation in organizations like Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, which provides valuable networking opportunities.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Just being grounded, having great family support, being part of wonderful organizations like Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated which is the first black sorority organization, and just being a part of that. It's a great networking.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It's not over till you win. Always learn. Always be a change agent. And always be willing to learn.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Build great relationships. Try to construct win-win. And always be the best version of yourself, because you never get a second time to make a first impression.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Practical. Moral. I'm a principal-centered leader. And loyalty.
