About Angelica
Angelica Perez is a community engagement and child and family development professional with over a decade of experience in mental health, early childhood development, family support, and community outreach. She has spent 15 years working with the birth to 5 population, beginning in pediatrics during high school and later serving as a preschool teacher for three years. After college, she worked in health and safety with Zero to Three before joining Pacific Clinics as a family specialist, where she provided behavioral and developmental support to young children and families for five years. She progressed to program supervisor and then to her current role as Program Manager, Community Engagement and Outreach, overseeing the launch and operations of six Family Resource Centers in Santa Clara County through a partnership with First 5. In this capacity, she manages staff, coordinates community events and parent education programs, and supports underserved families. Perez holds a bachelor's degree in health science with a minor in child and adolescent development. She maintains certifications as an ASQ trainee, in Triple P, Train in Seeds, 24-7 Dad, and has completed extensive training as an infant child mental health practitioner. She also serves as a committee member for SC Thrives.
