Angelika Murer
Angelika Murer is a highly accomplished lawyer specializing in intellectual property, patent, antitrust, and commercial dispute resolution. She currently serves as an Associate at Homburger AG in Zurich, Switzerland, where she focuses on complex litigation and advising clients on strategic IP and regulatory matters. I attribute my success to the hard work and dedication it took to get through law school, and I’m proud to have recently passed the New York Bar Exam.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can achieve anything you set your mind to—a lesson that has guided me to earn the Rising Star Award twice and secure a ranking in the Legal 500.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay the course, work hard, and persevere through challenges.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is striving to help clients and achieve a successful outcome in every case, balancing complexity with precision and strategy.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in work and life are staying devoted to my clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, which allows me to enjoy downhill skiing, time with my new puppy, and my passion for practicing law.
