What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my resilience, drive, and willingness to work hard for everything I’ve accomplished. From the very beginning, I made the commitment to invest in myself and my future by paying for my education, which not only strengthened my discipline but also reinforced the value of perseverance. I have never been afraid of failure; instead, I’ve viewed setbacks as opportunities to learn, improve, and push myself beyond my comfort zone. That mindset has allowed me to face challenges with confidence, embrace growth at every stage, and stay focused on turning obstacles into stepping stones toward my goals.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that if you want to be a CEO, you need to surround yourself with CEOs or, more broadly, surround yourself with the kind of people you aspire to be. Being in the company of driven, accomplished, and visionary individuals not only inspires you to raise your own standards but also challenges you to grow, think bigger, and continually push toward your goals.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never underestimate yourself or dismiss opportunities simply because you don’t meet every qualification on paper. Often, the qualities that truly make someone successful drive, creativity, resilience, and the ability to learn quickly cannot be fully captured in a checklist. You may very well be the perfect fit because of your potential, perspective, and passion. Never place limits on yourself; instead, be fearless in pursuing opportunities, step into spaces that challenge you, and believe wholeheartedly in the value you bring. Confidence, combined with determination and a willingness to grow, can open doors that credentials alone cannot, and it will set the foundation for a thriving and fulfilling career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing the complexity of invoicing. There are so many moving parts involved, from coordinating with multiple departments to ensuring accuracy in the details and timing of payments. Because the process requires collaboration and precision, even small errors can create delays or inefficiencies. At the same time, I also see this as an opportunity by streamlining systems, improving communication, and leveraging technology, there’s great potential to make the invoicing process more efficient and effective, ultimately strengthening overall financial operations.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, resilience, and loyalty. Integrity guides me to remain honest and accountable in every decision I make, ensuring that I stay true to my principles. Resilience allows me to face challenges head-on, adapt to change, and continue moving forward no matter the obstacles. Loyalty grounds me in building strong, lasting relationships based on trust and commitment, whether with colleagues, clients, or loved ones. Together, these values shape the foundation of who I am and how I approach every aspect of life.
