About Angelina
Angelina Wu is a New York-based fashion designer, content creator, and creative strategist known for her work across fashion, digital media, and brand marketing. A 2026 graduate of Parsons School of Design, Angelina has presented her collections at New York Fashion Week three times, while her work has been featured in Vogue, CNN, Glamour Magazine, and other media outlets. She founded her own fashion brand, KAKA TheLabel, in 2021, developing collections, campaigns, and online releases.
Alongside her fashion work, Angelina has built experience in content creation, social media strategy, and marketing for fashion and technology startups. She has freelanced in content creation and fashion design and has worked with notable designers, including Christian Siriano and Guo Pei, where she gained hands-on experience in embroidery, beadwork, embellishment, pattern making, and fashion design. She is also expanding her creative work into online education, currently offering courses that share her knowledge and experience with aspiring creators and designers.
Angelina is most proud of pursuing the work she loves while inspiring others to pursue their own ambitions. Her interests include designing for her brand, creating content, working out, and spending time with friends. She also values her Christian faith and enjoys being involved with her church community. Through her creative career, Angelina continues to combine fashion, entrepreneurship, and digital storytelling while encouraging others to embrace their individuality and follow what they are passionate about.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to attending an all-girls school, where I was surrounded by ambitious, strong, and driven women who inspired me to pursue my own goals with confidence.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that purpose is at the root of everything. Knowing your purpose helps guide your decisions, keep you focused, and give meaning to your work.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to approach everything with love and passion for what you do. Be a little delusional, believe in your dreams, and trust in yourself and your ability to achieve them.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge right now is helping tech startups differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market and clearly communicate what makes them unique.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are spontaneity, living with purpose, and continuously challenging myself to grow and learn.
