Angelynn Lindor is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), motivational speaker, and passionate advocate for mental wellness and trauma recovery. With over 19 years of experience in the mental health field, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals to heal from trauma, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier futures. Angelynn holds a Master’s in Education in Clinical Psychology from Cambridge College and has worked extensively with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and incarcerated individuals. Her areas of expertise include trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, domestic violence intervention, and family therapy.

Currently, Angelynn leads her private practice, Pieces of Me Journey to Healing, where she provides compassionate, individualized therapy rooted in both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of cultural and community needs. She also serves as a treatment counselor with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where she works with male inmates in substance abuse recovery, integrating art therapy and group interventions into her therapeutic approach. In addition, she is a public speaker, workshop facilitator, and advocate committed to breaking the stigma around mental health, especially in Black, Brown, and Caribbean communities.

Through her work, Angelynn blends therapeutic techniques with spiritual insight, aiming to help others reconnect with their inner strength. Whether she’s leading anger management groups, teaching children’s ministry, or speaking publicly about healing and resilience, Angelynn remains committed to one core mission: helping others gather the pieces of their lives and begin the journey toward wholeness.

Believe in yourself—stay committed and persistent, and you can achieve success even when starting from the smallest beginnings.

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in both work and life are family, faith, community service, and making meaningful connections through travel and shared experiences.
