Angie Christman is a seasoned digital marketing leader with a strong focus on CRM channel strategy, personalization, and creating engaging digital experiences. Currently serving as Director of Marketing CRM Channel Strategy at Kohl’s, Angie and her team oversee the company’s homepage, email, SMS, push notifications, print, and other channels, shaping content and campaigns to meet customer needs while driving engagement and conversions. With a career spanning over a decade at Kohl’s, she has advanced from entry-level roles to leadership, demonstrating resilience, strategic thinking, and a commitment to growth and innovation in the digital marketing space.
Before her rise in digital marketing, Angie gained hands-on experience in business operations and customer service during her time at the Herb Fitzgerald Company, where she managed website development, accounts receivable and payable, and customer relations. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, blending analytical skills with a deep understanding of people and organizational dynamics.
Beyond her professional achievements, Angie is a dedicated mother and community advocate. I attribute my success to doing work I genuinely enjoy and am passionate about and surrounding myself with people I like and respect. Loving what I do and being excited to come to work has been the key driver in my achievements.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to be direct and confident in my statements, taking a moment to collect my thoughts if needed, and never being afraid to speak up and share my honest opinion. Building confidence comes from showing up authentically, even if I might be wrong sometimes.

The best advice I’d give to young women entering the industry is to focus on networking—building strong relationships across teams and roles can open doors you might never expect. Making an impact and getting your name known can significantly advance your career.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are dedicating quality time to family and embracing experiences—like visiting museums, parks, and zoos—that allow us to connect and see the world in new ways.
