About Angie
Angie Fernandez, is a graphic designer, art director, and creative director who has worked with big agencies and maintained her own business. She began her role in higher education design on April Fool's Day 2024 and is the sole designer supporting enrollment and admissions at the university. Fernandez earned her degree from Moore College of Art and Design, where she now mentors students to inspire the next generation of creative designers. She advises young professionals in the field to avoid taking feedback personally and to remain adaptable to each brand's unique style rather than imposing personal preferences.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to be very adaptable.
Don't take things personal in the creative design business. You have to see it as, if they didn’t like what you did, it’s ok just don’t take it personal.
You can have a style, but you cannot bring it to your work because every brand has their own style.
