About Angie
Angie Nordlie, BSN, RN, CMRM, is a registered nurse and entrepreneur based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with extensive experience across military, hospital, and outpatient healthcare settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and began her nursing career in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps, where she served in neurology, general medicine, and oncology, including work as an assistant nurse manager. Her military service helped develop the discipline, leadership, and clinical expertise that continue to shape her professional career.
After returning to nursing following time focused on raising her children, Angie built a strong background in outpatient care, including more than eight years at North Valley Surgery Center, where she specialized in pre- and post-operative and endoscopy nursing. Her responsibilities included patient assessment, IV access, clinical testing, procedure support, patient education, documentation, and maintaining patient safety. She has also pursued additional professional development, including legal nurse consultant training and medical cannabis education for nurses, while contributing to her community through coaching and healthcare-related volunteer activities.
Today, Angie is the owner of DesertRN LLC, a mobile IV wellness business that provides convenient vitamin hydration, peptides, and wellness services in clients' homes. Her career reflects a commitment to helping others, continuous learning, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. Outside of nursing and business, Angie values family, faith, self-discipline, and staying active, particularly through running and fitness. She has also completed the Boston Marathon, demonstrating the perseverance and determination that have become defining qualities of both her personal and professional life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to life experiences, faith, and maintaining an active lifestyle including running marathons including the Boston Marathon at age 44.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to stay true to my purpose and remain open to new experiences. My journey through nursing school and various hospital settings, including oncology, has strengthened my passion for compassionate patient care.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find your purpose, pursue independence, and define success on your own terms. Build a strong financial foundation and plan for your future.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are faith, family, perseverance, self-discipline, and staying active. These principles guide how I approach both my work and personal life.
