Her Story
About Angie
I’m a results-oriented Strategic Marketing Specialist with a unique ability to integrate strategic branding, wellness advocacy, and human-centered communication. My expertise lies in developing campaigns that not only inform and engage but also inspire trust, foster community, and elevate the mission behind the message. With a background that bridges public sector communication and holistic entrepreneurship, I bring a creative, values-driven approach to marketing that aligns deeply with organizational goals and community needs. Whether executing large-scale outreach initiatives, enhancing digital presence, or amplifying a brand’s impact through storytelling and design, I deliver with heart, precision, and purpose.
I didn’t plan to become the woman I am today; life cracked me open instead. And what looked like failure was actually the beginning of my freedom. I left my family and my country believing love would be enough. For a while, it looked like a dream… but behind closed doors, I was slowly losing myself, slipping into borderline alcoholism and depression.
Then came the perfect storm: divorce, COVID, financial uncertainty, and single motherhood.
I closed my advertising agency, ended a 26-year marriage, and became a single mom of two girls (12 and 14) while trying to rebuild my health, happiness, and income alone.
I remember sitting in silence after they went to bed… not crying, not panicking, just empty.
I didn’t just miss success. I missed myself. I missed energy, confidence, and the freedom to dream without fear. I went to court to modify my divorce agreement and fight for justice, and my deepest terror was simple: What if I can’t provide? What if I’m judged as a bad mom? What if I lose my kids in court? The system didn’t feel like it supported me.
That fear has roots. My mother passed away over 22 years ago and left me a gift: an intuitive ability to guide others. But I also inherited her clinical depression… the darkness that took her life. And I was born with a congenital lung condition that made “normal” feel out of reach.
I asked for guidance. Healing came quietly—and without even realizing it, I started biohacking: “hacking” my own biology. Little by little, my physical and mental well-being began to shift. I was skeptical, but I tried different holistic approaches, including intermittent fasting, meditation, intense workouts, pure plant-based wellness, and targeted supplements and vitamins to support brain function. Then, during a meditation, I saw myself sharing my work again and thought: When did I stop dreaming?
Aligned income paths and supportive communities began showing up in my life. My home has become calmer, I feel supported, and I’ve started earning by sharing what we genuinely use without creating something from scratch.
ThinkCheers is a celebration of resilience. And I’m on fire to help wellness-driven mom business owners who feel trapped, because I know that silent struggle, and no mom deserves to go through that.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of inner growth, consistency, and purpose-driven action.
First, self-awareness and mindset. I’ve done the work to understand who I am, what I stand for, and how I want to show up. That clarity has guided every decision I’ve made.
Second, consistency. Success didn’t come from one big moment; it came from showing up again and again, even when things felt uncertain. I believe in creating more than I consume and staying committed to the process.
Third, resilience and courage. Life doesn’t always go as planned, but I’ve learned not to wait for perfect conditions. I move forward with what I have, and I trust that action creates momentum.
And finally, purpose. Everything I do is rooted in helping others grow, feel better, and live more aligned lives. When your work is connected to something bigger than you, success becomes a natural outcome, not just a goal.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is that everything has to be learned by experience. Everything has to be learned by just taking risks and trying it on. Don't be scared. You're going to figure it out on the way. It doesn't need to be perfect.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is simple: start before you feel ready, and grow as you go.
- Invest in your mindset first. Skills can be learned, but confidence and self-belief are built from within. Don’t doubt yourself, take small, consistent steps forward.
- Be consistent, not perfect. You don’t need everything figured out to begin. Show up, create, and stay committed to your vision. Consistency is what builds momentum and credibility over time.
- Own your voice and your story. What makes you different is your advantage. Don’t try to fit into someone else’s mold; your authenticity is your power.
- Surround yourself with the right people. Growth accelerates when you’re in environments that challenge, support, and inspire you.
Most importantly, don’t wait for permission. You are allowed to build, lead, and create the life you envision, starting exactly where you are.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The wellness and biohacking space is full of opportunity, but it also requires intention and integrity.
One of the biggest opportunities right now is the growing awareness around mental, physical, and emotional well-being. People are actively seeking solutions to feel better, perform better, and live with more balance. This creates space for purpose-driven brands and leaders to make a real impact.
At the same time, one of the biggest challenges is differentiation. The industry is becoming more crowded, and not everything being promoted is aligned, authentic, or sustainable. That’s why it’s more important than ever to build trust, stay educated, and lead with transparency.
Another opportunity is the ability to build communities and personal brands. Today, you don’t need to wait for permission; you can create, share, and grow your influence globally by being consistent and intentional with your message
For me, the future belongs to those who combine knowledge, authenticity, and purpose, because people are no longer just buying products; they’re investing in people and experiences they trust.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my work and personal life are authenticity, growth, and purpose.
First, authenticity. I believe in showing up as I am, my story, my voice, my journey. In a world where it’s easy to compare, staying true to yourself is what builds real connection and trust.
Second, growth. I am deeply committed to evolving, both personally and professionally. I believe in continuous learning, self-awareness, and becoming better every day through consistent action and reflection.
Third, purpose. Everything I do is rooted in impact, helping people feel better, live better, and step into their potential. When your work aligns with your purpose, it creates a sense of fulfillment that goes beyond success.
And finally, resilience. Life will always bring challenges, but I choose to move forward with strength, trust, and intention, even when things are uncertain
These values are not just ideas; they are principles I live by every day, and they shape the way I lead, build, and connect with others.
