Ten minutes with Anh
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say the way that I attribute success to it would mean that I make sure that I can influence other students as well, or like people in my field to not give up and keep moving forward. And I also want to make sure that whatever I do in the future can help others move forward and grow upward as well.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I would say the best career advice that I have received is to never stop asking questions.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say the same thing. Never stop asking questions, because also never stop thinking about questions, because you can think of one, you can ask them, and maybe the next answer is just the right thing for you to look forward to.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most valuable thing that a researcher should have is the ability to communicate and work in a team, receive feedbacks because that's one of the very crucial things for you that you need to grow. Discipline is one. I would also say self-motivation. But it really does depend on what context, because without having proper communication or the ability to collaborate, and the fact that a lot of the self-motivation comes from initially getting help from others, inspiration from others.
