What do you attribute your success to?
My success is deeply rooted in becoming a mother. Before my son, I had reached a level in life where I felt comfortable but I wasn’t pushing myself further. When he was born, everything shifted. I realized I didn’t just want success for myself anymore; I wanted to model it for him. He gave me a new sense of purpose and urgency. I wanted him to grow up seeing what determination and continuous growth look like. That realization pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, pursue new opportunities, and keep learning. I want him to know that no matter where you start, you can build something greater and I’m committed to showing him that every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve received is to stay open-minded and never stop learning. Growth comes from being willing to absorb knowledge from every person, every challenge, and every experience. When you stay curious and adaptable, you position yourself to evolve continuously and that’s where real success happens.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
One of the most important things is learning how to be strong without losing who you are. In male-dominated industries, there can be pressure to act differently to be tougher in a way that doesn’t feel natural. But the truth is, our strength as women comes from what makes us different. You don’t have to become someone else to succeed. Your perspective, your communication style, your intuition those are powerful tools. When you embrace those qualities instead of hiding them, you don’t just succeed you elevate the entire environment around you. Being yourself is not a weakness; it’s your greatest advantage.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Technology is rapidly changing the industry, which brings both opportunity and challenge. While it makes processes more efficient, it can also create a gap in hands-on knowledge and real-world experience. There’s a growing concern that people are becoming too reliant on technology instead of truly understanding the work. At the same time, many experienced professionals are retiring, taking decades of knowledge with them. That’s why I’ve made it a priority to learn as much as I can from those who have been in the field for years. Technology should be a tool not a replacement for critical thinking and experience. The future of the industry depends on finding that balance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Communication is at the core of everything I do. Whether in my career or personal life, success is built on strong relationships. Being able to clearly communicate, adapt to different people, and truly understand one another is essential. It’s not just about speaking it’s about connecting. When people feel heard and understood, everything works better. That’s how you build trust, alignment, and ultimately, success.
