Her Interview

Ten minutes with Anjli

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say 3 things. My effort. Grace, which I translate as luck. And persistence, or grit. Just continuing to do things in the face of whatever comes your way. Being focused on your goal.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Follow the money. Be as close to the folks that bring in the revenue as possible. That's very practical in the business world.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Get the right supports. Because none of us do it by ourselves. So reach out, get the coaching that you need at whatever stage it is, whether it's training on coaching tools or if it's business coaching.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is people understanding that investing in coaching with the right coach can pay dividends. It's not a nice to have, it's a focused tactical place to get clear on what you really want, why you want it, and how to get there. The opportunity is the human piece that AI can't replace.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

A sense of adventure. Adventure can mean taking a new route, meeting a new person, trying a new thing. It involves novelty and variety.
